A portrait commission begins before the camera comes out.

Together, we define who it is for, why it matters, how it should feel, where it will live, and what should remain once the session is over.

The process is deliberately simple, personal and considered.

  1. Conversation

    We begin with the person, relationship or chapter you want to preserve — its purpose, its mood, wardrobe, location, and where the finished portrait may live.

  2. Portrait

    A controlled, directed sitting, carefully lit and unhurried — enough time to work toward the photograph, not simply take one.

  3. Selection

    Miguel curates the strongest images. Together, you choose the photograph that feels most truthful — the one that becomes the piece.

  4. Finished Artwork

    The selected portrait is professionally printed and framed — prepared as artwork, not delivered as a file.

  5. Reveal

    For signature commissions, the finished piece is delivered or installed, and revealed as the last moment of the experience.
